I've been taking private skype lessons with Márcia for the past 9 months or so and can highly recommend both her as a teacher and the online format. The lessons fit so easily into my daily routine and save a lot of time. I also love the one-on-one, to be able to really go at my pace and get to ask all the random questions I want, as well as plenty of practice speaking and working on pronunciation. We all know many Portuguese are great at english, but as a person choosing to make Lisbon/Portugal my home for now, there are so many instances where I feel the genuine importance of learning the language and need to communicate beyond basics. So much of daily life is missed when you can't ask the questions or make the jokes you usually would. Márcia definitely knows her stuff when it comes to grammar and being able to answer the "why" questions. And she also keeps it current and doesn't waste time on sentences and subjects you would never talk about in daily life. For all of these reasons and more, I definitely recommend PL&C!
